The Chittum Laguna Madre was designed for the shallow bay system that we fish. It has the advantages of absolutely silent poling with zero hull slap. This is something Hal Chittum worked on for years with naval architects to avoid the wave given off the boat that is common to all vessels. This along with the Zephyr cove patented low water pick up and other designs allows us to get to skinny waters and then pole undetected to our quarry and get closer than ever before. The fishability is second to none and with the spider casting platform that I had him put on the deck we can control the line regardless of the ever present wind here on the Laguna.
